Mars Express celebrates 11 years of service in Mars orbit. The orbital station on December 20, 2003, decelerated and entered the orbit of an artificial satellite of Mars. Recently, the European Space Agency has once again extended the life of the orbital station by two years - until 2018. Since 2004, the station has been taking photographs of the surface of Mars. During operation, the station circled Mars 4165 times, 90% of the surface was filmed, of which 2/3 in high resolution 10 meters per point.
