Hello,
Recently, I came across
an article that IT companies are preparing for small personnel problems due to the fact that wages in the Russian Federation fell slightly in dollar terms. Despite this, the income of export companies did not change much (again, if you look in dollars), and these are
about 80% of companies . That is, the price for one developer in the Russian Federation was less than two times than it was about a year ago. It is logical that in this case, growth in demand for development in the Russian Federation (as
well as in neighboring countries ) is likely, which may affect the IT personnel market.
A very similar currency situation happened a year ago in Ukraine, where as a result, wages in the
IT sector increased , compared to the
market average in the country . Again, it is logical to assume that wages in the IT industry in the Russian Federation will make a similar trick (that is, it will grow by an amount proportional to the growth of the dollar against the ruble).
Therefore, I have a question for readers: how are things in your company? Are they going to index salaries? Has the staff turnover increased? Did they start recruiting new employees?
