Volvo helmets warn drivers and cyclists about each other

Do you know what Baidu's bike lacks? Any smarter smarter. Like this motorcycle , but easier and not full face. Volvo introduced the concept of such a helmet.



All data about drivers of cars and cyclists connected to the Volvo cloud, fall into this cloud. In the car for this, everything is already there, and cyclists will need a special application like Strava . Cyclists will know that the car crosses the path in their direction - the signal will be given by the LEDs built into the helmet.

On the other hand, drivers will get information about cyclists on the map, which is especially useful in places with a dead zone. And, for sure, useful to truck drivers.

In February of this year, I wrote about Volvo connected cars at the MWC 2014 . This concept is a continuation of this trend. But not everyone drives Volvo, and not everyone wants to upload their location to the cloud, which is an obstacle to technology. It is obvious that in our "bright future" there will be no place for paranoids who are afraid to reveal information about their location.
