It all started with the enthusiasm of motocross. Once, a successful worker, previously a design bureau, and now a private scientific and technical company, Vladimir Petrov decided to create a small but fast electric bike for his son, he decided and did, it turned out effectively and not expensive. And then I thought, if you stay at an affordable cost, then why not put the creation of a bike on stream.

Calculations showed that the basic light version will cost about 4 thousand dollars. One of the first prototypes of an electric motor developed a power of about 9 kW, and the last sample had 15 kW, which is about 20.5 horsepower, and it weighs 6.5 kg. For comparison, the internal combustion engine of the car VAZ 1111 - OKA has 35 hp. As the designer of the electric motor says, “I have not invented anything fundamentally new, but used the modern technological capabilities of the new precision equipment, which makes it possible to fit parts to each other at an extremely precise level.
In addition to the electric motor, a unique in-house development is a control controller representing a complex hardware and software complex developed at the same enterprise. The results of the calculations were drawn up in the project and announced in Skolkovo. There it was not immediately, but noticed a young businessman Dmitry Samarsky, enthusiastic motorcycles. Pretty quickly found the first investment, which should be enough to produce the first experimental batch of electric cars.
The main driving difference of a bike on an electric driver from a bike with an internal combustion engine consists in a constant thrust, i.e. in the absence of the need to change gears and as practice has shown, this leads to an unconditional victory in the competition. The prototype of a children's electric motocross motorcycle was tested on the track of the World Cup at the Orlyonok All-Russian Children's Center and with a handicap of 7 seconds given to participants with motorcycles on a traditional thrust, the electric bike was the first on the third lap, and on the fifth had the advantage of one lap.
This year, the prototype was present at several exhibitions, which attracted quite a few experts from both our country and others. The first pre-orders and proposals for placing serial production abroad appeared. However, first of all, the production is planned to be placed in our country. But first you need to patent the development.
The electronic prototype of the silver medalist of the World Rally-Raid Championships — the Russified Frenchman Arno Jacques, who offered, no less, to ride the Paris-Dakar rally-raid on our bike, and perhaps his desire to fulfill, caused particular delight.
Taking into account the current situation in the country, and in particular with sharply increased needs for domestic technologies, enterprises working for the defense complex have shown interest in the development. One of the fields of application of electric motors is a motorized technique that is not detectable by thermal imagers.
Now the prototype can travel about 50 km without recharging, but the issue of choosing a battery manufacturer is being actively worked out.
