Plan V: backup plan for the case of full discharge of the smartphone battery

I think everyone will remember a dozen situations in their lives, when they had to make an urgent call, and the phone battery ran out. To solve the problem, someone carries with him a spare battery, someone - Power bank, and someone goes to the cafe to drink a cup of coffee and charge the phone.

Plan V offers one more opportunity - buy a “krone” battery in the nearest stall and quickly charge the phone on the go. Plan V is an emergency charging keychain. If something happens, the key ring is removed from the ring, a battery is connected to it and the phone receives the required dose of energy.

At the end of the "key fob" is a microUSB connector, thanks to which emergency charging can be connected to a large number of smartphones and other mobile devices. Are you an iPhone owner? There is a solution for you - the developers offer a variant with Lightning.

Plan V is an interesting thing, and it has already been reviewed (albeit in English only). It is not necessary to watch everything, but it is quite possible to understand how it looks and how it works.

The keychain weighs 7 grams, so I do not think that Plan V will have claims in terms of weight or large dimensions (dimensions 4.5 * 1 * 1 cm when folded).

There is nothing special to say about the design and technical characteristics of Plan V, because everything is very simple there.
Better talk about the merits of the device. There are several of them at once.

First , the relatively small price of the gadget (the developers plan to sell Plan V for about $ 15-17; and only when the Chinese get ...).

Secondly , Plan V is a portable, versatile device that is truly always with you. To forget it means to forget the keys, because the device is used as a keychain.

Thirdly , this is a universal gadget. “Krona” was chosen because the battery charge is enough to replenish the battery with a solid capacity, this is not AA batteries (the developers say that “Krona” will be enough for 4 hours of talk for iPhone 5S). In addition, such a battery can be found in any store, any stall.

Fourth , Plan V does not require the use of adapters or the like. The connector is already available, and all you need to do to get started is to expand the “key ring”, insert the battery into the connectors, and the key ring itself - insert it into the microUSB connector of the smartphone.

The developers have already raised twice the money for Kickstarter than was required, so Plan V will definitely appear on the market. The delivery time of the first batch is March 15, 2015.

We like Plan V in a “djadget”. True, it seems that it was possible to make it even smaller. But in the end, many people wear key rings on their keys, including fairly large or weighty ones.

We ordered a couple of copies on the kickstarter and we will definitely tell you what it is in real life, this Plan V.
