ZANO has the smallest GPS module in the world - OriginGPS Nano Hornet, which dimensions are 10x10 x 3.44 mm. And the drone itself is very miniature - its dimensions are 65 by 65 mm, and its weight is only 55 grams.
The device is equipped with a 32bit 330DMIPS processor, a 5 megapixel HD video camera and a microSD slot. Maximum speed - 40 km / h.
Torquing Group has been producing air drones since 2008. Initially, the company released them for military purposes, having achieved technical characteristics that met the high demands of defense orders; now it was the turn to conquer the consumer market. For this purpose, the ZANO model was developed.
The drone can fly autonomously, is controlled from mobile devices on iOS and Android via Wi-Fi, which also makes it possible to transfer images or video instantly. According to the developers, Zano is very "responsive", that is, it responds to any movement that the drone operator makes during control. There is a “free flight” mode, which is installed in the mobile application.
“We began work on ZANO, setting ourselves the goal of making aerial photography and aerial filming a truly public domain. Zano is small, lightweight, but durable enough, while quite “smart” and does not require any piloting skills.
