"Wanderers" by Eric Wernquist



For a long time, we wanted to go beyond the piece of land allotted to us, establish a colony on the moon, or find life on Mars.

Swedish artist and animator Erik Wernquist (Erik Wernquist) decided to create a video that people can see with their own eyes if they ever go on a journey through the solar system.

To create his video, he used really developed scientific ideas and concepts, for example, such a space elevator:

In order to create plausible views of the Universe and objects, the author of the video turned to real photos. Let's say that these frames are based on photos from the ISS of July 2003:

And here you can see Cape Verde Cape on Mars, a picture of which was released by NASA in 2006, although its size is slightly exaggerated:

To accompany the video, Wernquist chose Karl Sagan’s audio recording, in which he reads a fragment from his book Pale Blue Dot.
