Unity was developed in 1985, and was installed in houses and villas. The American in question put Unity in his house in 1990. Since then, the system works without any problems, although it has been 24 years.

What can the system do?

Automatic control of lighting and electrical appliances with the ability to create operating modes for various systems;
Automatic control of room temperature, with the ability to create individual modes for each room;
Protection of the house - the security system will warn about the intrusion of not only the owner, but also the security service;
Irrigation system management.

By the way, the display shown in the photo is touch-sensitive (in fact, such displays appeared a very long time ago), so no mice, keyboards, etc. are required. UNITY is controlled from the main screen.
