Let's face it. Smart watches look like geeks. And those that resemble classic mechanical watches are more expensive. In addition, they can not be compared with Rolex, Omega, Cartier - there is no “status”. Startup Kairos T-Band decided to fix this problem with the help of “smart” straps for classic watches.

Three versions of T-Band will be available. All of them are made of rubber and are designed for use with an analog clock. The simplest option is equipped with sensors and LEDs, as well as a vibration motor. The second strap comes with a monochrome display, and the third with a curved touchscreen, protected by scratch-resistant mineral glass. The devices are equipped with a gyroscope, an accelerometer, a compass and an optical sensor. The base model also measures skin temperature.
A 200mAh battery should last for 2-3 days of operation without recharging. The bracelets are based on the ARM® Cortex ™ -M4 processor with a capacity of 168MHz. Protection against moisture - class IP67. Two older models are also equipped with a heart rate monitor.
The bracelet is compatible with smartphones on iOS, Android and Windows Phone, for synchronization using Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth v4.0 BLE. The device platform is built on the FreeRTOS system.
The startup collects money for Indiegogo , at the time of publication of the material it was possible to collect only $ 25,475 of the required $ 50,000.
