Bike from Baidu monitors the health and charges the smartphone
What connected device will become popular? Forget the smartwatch. Bikes go to the arena - this is proven by a motorcycle helmet and an e-bike from Teague . This time, the Chinese Godzilla of Baidu’s business has done something more than smart rods : the bike will advise the route, follow the pulse and charge the gadgets.
The DuBike is driven by the power of human legs. No electric drive. The purpose of this bike is to monitor the health of the owner and his sporting achievements, for which a number of sensors are used, including a pedal pressure sensor and a heart rate monitor. All data is transmitted to the smartphone via Bluetooth, where it is processed and displayed in a special application. Also, the bike converts kinetic energy into electrical energy. This means that you can charge the phone while you are driving, and that you don't need to charge the bike so that the sensors work, from the outlet. ')
Price, weight and other specifications have not yet been disclosed. It is also unclear whether DuBike will reach Russia, the USA and Europe.
