Picture to attract attentionAt the
Airshow China event, the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (
AVIC ), China, showed a holographic ground control station for drones (Holographic Ground Control Station (GCS)).
')
Strictly speaking, neither the technical details of the station, nor even the video of its work, apparently, does not yet exist, but with the submission of journalists from Western publications devoted to military topics, one can approximately judge the seriousness of the development, if only because its author is than a solid state company.
A schematic representation of the GCS station is presented below:

It can be carefully assumed that the scheme of work is as follows: the drone operator is in a chair in front of the holographic image of the drone itself and can control it, assessing its position in space. It is reported that the operator is available to control various parameters of the drone, ranging from flight parameters and ending with weapons.
It is assumed that the GCS system is designed so far to control the drone of a specific Lijian model, released last November also by AVIC. This drone is designed exclusively for military purposes (Unmanned combat aerial vehicle).
