The volume of contextual advertising in RuNet for the first time exceeded the volume of media advertising

According to a study conducted jointly by Yandex, Rambler, Runner and ACAR, the contextual advertising market in RuNet was 110 million dollars , which more than doubled last year (45 million dollars). For the first time in the history of the market indicators of the context have surpassed the volume of media advertising, both in terms of growth and in absolute terms. The media market on the Internet, according to ACAR, amounted to $ 100 million in 2006, showing an increase of 1.6 times compared with last year.
