Signing instead of a PIN in the TCS Bank is considered safer
Hello. Recently I got myself a debit card TKS, chip card, everything. And he was unpleasantly surprised by the fact that no PIN code was asked anywhere in stores. At all. A couple of times asked to sign, despite the fact that I have no signature on the card. A call to the bank clarified the situation - it turns out, the shops cannot ensure the safety of entering a PIN code (whatever that means) and therefore, the default priority is to verify the signature. Which nobody looks at all.
Priorities I asked to change, the benefit is possible. But you think about the current - you find / find a TKS card and stamp into any store with lazy cashiers. Excellent security by default.
