An unexpected twist came in the falsification of shots of the downed Malaysian Boeing.

In a report on Channel One of Russian television, a “satellite photo” was shown, where the fighter launches a rocket into a passenger plane. The authenticity of the photo was confirmed by a certain “expert” Ivan Andrievsky, the first vice-president of the Russian Union of Engineers (later it turned out that he had no engineering education, and there was obvious plagiarism in the thesis). The photos were sent to Andrievsky by an American citizen George Bilt, who, according to him, is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology "with 26 years of experience as an expert in aviation."

Bilt sent a link to the forum where the photo was published , and explained that he had found the picture there.

Within a few hours after the airing of the program, the forgery was exposed by the cloud structure, which exactly coincided with the clouds in the Google Earth photos from September 2011, as well as other inconsistencies.

The most interesting thing started after that. Russian television did not go on the air with a refutation and did not apologize to the audience for this horrible blunder. Moreover, another vice-president of the Russian Union of Engineers, Vladimir Saluyanov, even made accusations! And the guilty was ... the Internet.

- How can we check it? He came to us on the Internet.

The statement of Saluianov with irony was met by the Internet public. For publication on television, he was offered several “reliable shots”, which also could not be checked.

One of the bloggers suggested that the Nazi UFO was involved in the incident.

George Bilt himself spoke about the lack of professionalism of the Russian media, who sent a letter to Andrievsky in confidence.
