DARPA wants to make "mother" aircraft for drones

DARPA is looking for ways to turn an existing model of the aircraft into a carrier for drones, which could send a whole wave of UAVs at a safe distance from the target, and then return them to the base. The project search program was launched on November 7th.

The agency’s official press release says: “We want to make smaller airplanes more efficient, for which we find it promising to make a big airplane with minimal modifications“ carrier in the sky ”.

At least 100 low-cost unmanned aerial vehicles should fit in one plane, and the project presentation should not exceed 8 pages. A full-scale demonstration of the current project will need to be presented within four years.

Any ideas we won't tell about DARPA?
