Lumia 535 - the first Microsoft Lumia smartphone
In the line of our smart phones of the new generation (and this, we recall, smartphones based on Windows Phone 8.1) today is a landmark addition. In the morning, Lumia 535 was announced - the first smartphone under the Microsoft Lumia brand.
The novelty has a really good value for money / technical characteristics and a bright design - qualities that have already become the hallmark of Lumia models. A smartphone with a 5-inch screen and two 5-megapixel cameras (main and front) will be offered on the Russian market at an estimated price of $ 7,990. And now about everything in order.
Lumia 535 is not a continuation of the model Lumia 530, as one might think, but a kind of step aside: an entry-level smartphone for users who care about having a large screen and good cameras for taking regular photos and self portraits.

The model is equipped with an IPS-screen with a diagonal of 5 inches, which, willy-nilly, is becoming the modern standard not only for flagship devices, but also lower level for smartphones. The screen has qHD resolution (960 × 540 pixels) and a density of 220 pixels / inch.
As for the “brain” of the new smartphone, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 single-platform platform already familiar from other Lumia models, consisting of a 1.2 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor and the Adreno 302 graphics accelerator, is installed. Storage space for files: 8 GB of internal memory + the possibility of expanding the microSD card up to 128 GB. And, of course, all users of Lumia have 15 GB of OneDrive cloud storage available.
As we mentioned above, one of the advantages of this smartphone is two 5-megapixel cameras. The size of the main sensor is 1/4 ", f / 2.4 aperture. There is an LED flash, which can also be used as a flashlight. The aperture value of the front camera is also f / 2.4. Due to its wide angle, it is ideal for group video calls and taking self portraits. Both cameras support shooting video with a resolution of 848 × 480.
The Microsoft logo fits well into the traditionally minimalistic contrasting design of the case. The devices will be available with replaceable covers of blue, bright green, bright orange, white and dark gray. Which of the color combinations will fall on the Russian market is now being clarified, but it is reliably known that in the kit there will always be an additional black replaceable cover. Worthy compromise between bright solutions and timeless classics.
As in some other models of the line, the main controls in the Microsoft Lumia 535 are displayed on the touch screen, and the only physical buttons are responsible for locking and volume control. Dimensions of new items are 140.2 × 72.4 × 8.8 mm, and weight - 146 grams.

This means that all new features and proprietary applications that have appeared in the latest software version, such as live folders or the new “Lumia Camera”, will be available already out of the box.
