John Nolan is working on the script for the series on HBO based on the Azimov cycle "Foundation"
TheWrap website reports that HBO and Warner Brothers TB have teamed up for the filming of the series, based on Isaac Asimov’s Foundation, trilogy. Jonathan Nolan will be producing and writing the show.
Nolan is known as the creator of the popular NF-series about artificial intelligence " In Field of View ", the scriptwriter of the acclaimed film " Interstellar " and co-author of the modern restart of the Batman movie franchise "The Dark Knight". Nolan is also working with his wife on the future HBO series “Westworld”, dedicated to artificial intelligence and human weaknesses.
When Nolan was asked: "What kind of NF-work you think is undeservedly unknown to readers?", He replied:

Sony Pictures has already tried to implement the project, buying it in 2009 and appointing Roland Emmerich as a director and producer. When they failed, the project outbid HBO.
