The idea of shooting a POV was born in 2007, but then there was no technology for that. Once I bought an analog surveillance camera, connected it to a signal converter to be able to record on digital media. I attached it to the cap, and threw a ton of wires into the backpack - and so took off my first video - but it was of terrifying quality. Then I took a motorcycle helmet from my friends and redid it. Even then, I had the understanding that in order to create a presence effect, it was necessary to mount the camera not on the forehead, but on the jaw. The higher the camera, the less torso she sees. But with such a motorcycle helmet it was hard to run and I put aside these ideas until better times. And then went out goupro. And by luck I bought it (Ilya (Naishuller - director of "Hardcore")) and lent me a couple of days ... I ran, took the material with my jumps ... and Ilyukha so much that he suggested that he should stir up the video for his group. Well, then we began to write the script and think about how to fix the camera. As a result, we bought a predator airsoft mask, cut it out and began to shoot the first clip .
But since it was not intended for the camera, it was wildly uncomfortable in her: her face was sweating very much, I was chewing my cheeks, and the image was shaking. When we started to shoot the second clip, I slowly began to design a special fastener for the camera. To the surprise of the world nothing like this existed. And since I am a designer, I have been involved in parkour for 10 years and for many years I dreamed of shooting in exactly this format, I started working on the mount and pulled my team into this business.
And then the video made a noise, Ilya called and said that we would make a film. Then there was an additional motivation to accelerate the development of the mask.
