Google: the fifth Gmail and cross-platform data service

The day before yesterday, I wrote about small but pleasant additions to the Google Calendar, and today I came across a couple more news. This time it will be about a new mail client for Android and a service that allows you to transfer data from one mobile device to another, regardless of the operating system.

Compresence

According to Android Police, the new Compresence application is similar to the Android Beam, it will only work on all possible operating systems.

Indeed, we have AirDrop and Android Beam, as well as Lenovo's ShareIt, which allows us to transfer data to nearby devices. That's just between Android and iPhone is difficult to transfer photos, and they want to fix it in Google. The service will allow WiFi to transfer files between devices on iOS and mobile OS from Google.

First, the application uses Bluetooth to search for a device, and then sends data directionally without using cloud services like Dropbox or Google Drive.

New gmail

The second good news concerns the Gmail application for Android. The fifth version will become a hub for all your email accounts, including Outlook, Yahoo and IMAP or Exchange email accounts.

And what about the theme of design - there is much more red. If you can not wait - the fifth version of the APK can download on Android Police.
