In the US, cinemas have banned watching movies in Google Glass and other video glasses.

Not so long ago on Habré (then on Habré, yes) news was published that a whole team of policemen arrested a man who had come to the cinema to watch a movie in Google Glass. Then this incident was resolved in favor of the viewer: they apologized to him and gave him a couple of tickets to a movie.

At the same time, the representative of the MPAA stated that this was the only incident of this kind, the organization itself appreciates technical progress. Therefore, there will be no restrictions on wearing Google Glass.

But the situation has changed.

Now, any of the spectators, coming to the cinema, should turn off the call on the phone, turn off the recording device (camera, if it has one), and take off the video glasses (no matter Google Glass or any others). This rule remains in force, even if a person uses optical lenses in his video glasses. If a person does not comply, they will be asked to quit. And if a cinema worker suspects the viewer that he is recording a movie using any type of device, then this worker can call the police.

And this is not a project, but an already existing update of the policies of the MPAA and NATO (no, not the military alliance, but the National Association of Theater Owners).

It seems that in the near future the security service will work in cinemas and stand all sorts of frameworks, such as those installed at airports ...
