These mad scientists are working on a humanoid robot 4.5 meters high and weighing almost seven tons. Replaceable air guns - instead of hands. Each robot will be controlled by a team of shooter and pilot.
The hulls of Megabot will be covered with armor from special plates that break when hit with a projectile filled with paint, flying at a speed of 120 miles per hour. The computer will calculate the amount of damage to the limbs and torso of the robot. The more hits - the more the robot will limp, the weapon will jam. After causing a sufficient amount of damage to a certain part of the robot - it will turn off.
The company plans to build more than one robot: the more money they collect, the more they build. Goal: run the first championship among combat robots.
So far, Kickstarter has set a bar at $ 1.8 million - this should be enough for two robots to arrange a “battle of the century” between them. With a large number of copies to arrange not only death match, but other disciplines - for example, capture the flag.
