Those who still can not only bear it in their head for years, but also do it, but also can hold out for more than a year, most likely need to “go to the people”. Namely - to hold presentations, go to exhibitions or, as in our case, go to Moscow Startup Day. At once I will tell separate thanks geektimes ! Due to the fact that we posted an article about our project and received competent feedback, we decided to go to the event with the slogan: “The main event for startups and those who are interested in them.”

Well, let's leave the slogans and titles alone, the post is not about that. Post I want to write on my own behalf and share the opinion that you just need to take on any presentation of the project startup. The following list of 25 things allowed me not only to feel confident at the presentation, but also to help my neighbors in the stands. And help - it does not pass without a trace. Yes, it's good when you have a single style of everything: pens, notebooks, packages, you are all dressed the same. But if you have a complex project that solves some specific target problem, as in our case, then all these notebooks and pens will be taken away from you just because it is a freebie. And this client needs information that you decide specifically for him.

Even the most common A4 sheet with brief abstracts will help not only to understand, but will also be your assistant. Especially when completely different people come up and at some point it becomes really difficult to speak, either the music starts shouting loudly, or someone starts yelling at the microphone, and you already have a sore throat and your memory refuses, so you can just read the text "from the sheet" . This is a serious "helper", I really was very glad that I was not lazy and made it.

I advise two colors, not more. Moreover, one must be red. To highlight the most important details: phone, domain name, name.

Wi-fi router

At major events, free Wi-fi is the thing that is still slowed down. You need to show your project. If this is a site, then it should work quickly and without errors. In this case, you need to have your own Internet.

A good suit

Yes, you have to remove your favorite multi-colored sweater with a hood. The costume not only disciplines you, but also those who will communicate with you. Serious suit - serious customers.

Scotch tape

The thing necessary for any presentation. Quickly glue something, fasten, fasten. At the neighbors, the Roll Up beam broke and the poster crashed down with a terrible sound. Scotch solves such problems quickly and without the "dust".

The rest of the things are quite obvious and understandable. I am sure this post will be useful, but such things as a fashion magazine and headphones are not. Because I took them in case the Lord did not bring. Those. in case of complete failure. Fortunately, not needed. The project was interested in and in general the event was quite successful.
