Social Network Ello. Panacea from advertising or?

So, you probably already heard about the new social network with a mysterious logo and the name Ello? So, I came to an invite and had the opportunity to check how it is arranged from the inside.
Externally, for all uninitiated, the page looks like this:

According to the developers, the main feature of Ello is a simple interface and a complete lack of advertising.
Looks really nice. I do not argue, I also liked it.
The left menu consists of three buttons (Friends, Noise and Follow as a lightning bolt icon):
In the right part, which may be the main one, either the friends feed is displayed when the Friends tab is selected, or the list of users' posts. Something like a ribbon in G +:
Placing comments and posts is simple and straightforward; you can mention users through the already familiar mention of all and drag and drop pictures (including gifs) with a simple drag-n-drop:
When adding photos to the recording, you can move the block with the photo and the text blocks - as in some WYSIWYG editor.
This is not so miserable, as in “Vkontakte” or “Facebook”, and not as monstrous as in Livejournal.com. In fact, I personally missed this very much.
As a result, we get a message that may look like a full post in LJ.
All photos will be located exactly in the order in which we place them.
And yet, each user can invite 10 friends.
More users are encouraged to actively use the hot keys:
The result, by the way, can be interesting. Here, for example, the usual tape:
Press Shift + 5 - and, voila! "Tape" takes a compact form:
In general, the sensations are quite mixed from this social network. Photos and gifs are good, the system of invites is also not very annoying. But neither audio nor video can be found in this social network. Although, of course, you can embed direct links to the same youtube.com. But this is somewhat inconvenient.
In general, I have not quite studied this service yet, but the fact that the ad will appear here as a subscriber bots, like on Instagramm, I give it 9 out of 10 points.
