Mac Os Mavericks upgrade on Yosemite became available last night

On the evening of October 16, an upgrade to the new version of Apple's operating system, Yosemite, was available to all owners of Mac OS Mavericks.

All owners of Apple’s computers and laptops can do this for free via the AppStore.

Together with the upgrade of the operating system, there were updates of all the main programs from Apple - iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes, as well as an office free software package from Apple - Keynote, Pages, Numbers. Safari and a number of other programs have also been updated.

Among the main innovations and changes - the new interface, the Notification Center, Dock, iCloud came out of beta and became fully functional.

All owners of the following devices can be updated:

• iMac (Mid-2007 or newer)
• MacBook (13-inch, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
• MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or newer), (15-inch, Mid / Late 2007 or newer), (17-inch, Late 2007 or newer)
• MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later)
• Mac Mini (Early 2009 or newer)
• Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
• Xserve (Early 2009)

Before upgrading, it is recommended to create a backup copy using Time machine tools.
