It seems that the owners of gas stations may start to panic slowly. The fact is that electric vehicles are becoming more and more, Tesla is becoming more accessible, and if new public initiatives are distributed in the UK, then electric refueling may not be necessary.
In any case, the project has great potential. The project consists in the development of a public program to create free-of-charge refueling points for the batteries of their cars throughout the country. So, the two owners of the Tesla Model S, Adam Fozit and Tom Fitzgerbert, decided to ensure that the owners of electric cars could charge the batteries from each other for free. And the idea itself arose during a general meeting of the owners of electric cars in one of the pubs of the city of Henley-on-Thames. To make the plans a reality, the “colleagues” created the
TesLowJuice community. Community members can replenish the stock of batteries at public gas stations, which are equipped by car owners themselves at home. Thus, paid gas stations become unnecessary.

Any interested owner of an electric vehicle can join the community. The first step is to register on the site, leave your coordinates and some other data. Of course, at home you need to have an equipped electric vehicle refueling point. Thus, any other owner of an electric vehicle, having driven in his coordinates on the community site, can get information about the nearest free refueling points.

Participants leave a description of the most conspicuous places near their homes, so that they can be easier to find.
Now the community has only 66 users and 50 points of free charging of electric vehicles (so far only owners of Tesla Model S or Roadster are accepted into the community). Most likely, after a series of publications about this initiative, similar networks will appear in other countries, and in the UK the size of the community “fill your Tesla for free” will only increase.
