Within the framework
of the PROSTOROBOT project, we have created a training board game “Battle of Golems”. We tried to raise funds for Bumstarter (unsuccessfully), then decided that the works should not have been in vain in any case and posted existing materials for free download Print & Play. It is enough to print game fields, Golem figures and maps on thick paper, cut them, and also read the rules and print puzzles if you play alone.
What is this game? About programming, performers and just the battle of Golems-robots. We wanted to make a game that would allow us to learn the basics of programming and robotics, and at the same time have a fun and entertaining time.
')
Who is this game for? For children, they learn programming, algorithms, and the basics of managing performers. For adults, it develops thinking and provides “food for the mind.” For teachers - now there is something to occupy students in the lessons and in circles, even if there are no computers and real robots. You can use both ready-made scripts and invent your own rules, fields and actions!

The game is simple with its rules and complex options at the same time.
What do you find in it?
- Golem figurines - red and blue, 4x4 fields, on which Golems can walk and obstacle tokens, which complicate the game and allow you to play various scenarios and set up puzzles.
- Cards for Golems of each color, defining their PROGRAM. Yes Yes! You set up a program for the Golems, and then they follow it and fight.
- Obstacles to the game that complicate the game and make it more interesting: Barrels, with useful and harmful content or empty, Walls, Water and even stairs, allowing the full version to play on several floors.
Each player lays out a program from Action cards, and the Crack markers and Bonus cards will show you how much is left before the victory and whether you can apply the Cycles and Conditions when writing it. You and your opponents have four moves each, so you need to take care of a short but effective algorithm.
The game is currently in the free version for two players.
If you are alone, then the puzzles from the Golems will help you to brighten up time in a single game.
You can read and watch
in detail
on the promo site of the game (and download the free version of course) or in
the Game card on Teser . And you can also follow the development process and directly participate in it in the
Official VKontakte group .
We invite circles of Robotics to join our project and help with testing and popularizing the game!
