Time limit on voting for comments

Faced with one unpleasant feature of the time limit on voting. As you know, on Habré, topics can be evaluated only for three days from the moment of their publication. It seems to me that there is an error in this restriction.

If a user added a new comment 3 days after the topic was posted, then no one will ever be able to evaluate his comment.

I believe that the deadline for an open vote on a comment should begin from the moment a specific comment is published, and not the topic in which it was left.
