Announcement of the mitap of RubyRoars # 1 in Kharkov

The extensive experience of holding Sync.NET, ThinkPHP , ThinkJava , WordPress Kharkiv and iThink mitapas led our team to a logical question - wasn’t it time for us to create a Ruby-community? It’s time, that’s why we invite all Ruby developers to the starting RubyRoars meeting, which is meant to start a new large community from NIX Solutions :).

What are we going to talk about at the conference?

1) Vladimir Mozgin, “Rails - the philosophy of good code”
The report will introduce newcomers to Rails programming with the first basic principle of object-oriented design S - single responsibility. Let us examine the role of objects by areas of responsibility, where and what functionality should be in the project and what to answer for. We will also talk about thin controllers and models.

2) Anton Tkachev, “Growth of personal professional value”
The report will give guests a clear understanding of the business side and customer expectations. Participants will find out why the metrics of a good developer code are often extremely far from the metrics of people who pay for their work. We will also understand in what areas, besides programming, should be developed and what to pay attention to. For dessert, we will touch on the topic of personal branding.

3) Mikhail Stefansky, “Practical React / TypeScript” *
Why React? Why typeScript? Common patterns (container / presentational components for large-scale applications);
* The report will be held in English.

We will present reports, we will answer questions, we will share our experience, we will charge for a good end of the week :).
