Microsoft learned to clean up after themselves?

The epic with the voluntary-compulsory "pushing" of users of previous versions of Windows to upgrade to the tenth version, probably, will be included in the textbooks on advertising. As an example or an antiprimer, this is how someone perceives, but the blood (all over the world) got a lot of trouble from the user “without washing, so skating”, and probably the most courageous broke the number of comments about it expectations of marketers of the company.

Well, nothing lasts forever, and the promised free update period has passed more than a month ago. The deadline has passed, and the reminders in other systems both have been, and have remained (possibly inactive). And so (who would have thought?) It appeared in the list of updates for Windows - update KB3184143 .

This is even somewhat unexpected, but the update does not install this time, but removes components aimed at getting a free update. Yes, Microsoft, how strange it will not sound, in this case, cleaning up after itself.

Remember, each of these KBs is a small one, and a quest! Some of them “went through” at times, and some resembled the level with the boss: it was almost impossible to refuse to update ... However, nostalgia was nostalgic, and I personally am glad that on computers of staunch supporters of previous versions of Microsoft's OS software life.
