Tsarka Kazakhstan team won at Positive Hack Days 2017 international forum on practical security

From May 23 to May 24, the Positive Hack Days Practical Security Forum was held in Moscow.



Briefly about the forum:

Positive Hack Days International Forum on Practical Safety takes place every spring in Moscow. The conference, organized by Positive Technologies, for two days brings together leading security guards and hackers from around the world, representatives of government agencies and big businessmen, young scientists and journalists.

The main principles of PHDays are a minimum of advertising and a maximum of useful knowledge in reports and seminars, informal communication of “jackets” and “T-shirts” at round tables, a lot of exciting contests and an energetic atmosphere of a research ground. In 2016, PHDays VI was visited by a record number of participants - 4,200 people from different countries.

The winner was the Kazakhstani team "CARKA", with a margin of almost 50 points.

CERT.KZ is the first private Kazakhstan computer incident response center. The main activities of the Center are to assist and provide practical assistance in ensuring information security to government agencies, organizations of the quasi-public sector, private enterprises, the media and non-governmental public organizations, identifying and analyzing information security incidents in the Kazakhstani segment of the Internet, conducting various kinds of activities aimed development of institutional structures, raising awareness and popularization of issues cheniya information security industry - not only in terms of information systems, but also in terms of prevention and containment of incidents related to the financial and economic business processes, as well as with regard to technology networks and systems for process control.
