They are small, dear and easy to kidnap. Multimedia devices such as: iPod, USB Flash, digital cameras, etc. are tempting for the kidnappers, if they are stolen, the chances of a return are almost gone.
But what if the devices could call home? Now they can do it! You register the device in
our system , install the necessary files in the root of your device. If your device is stolen, you simply go to the site and mark the device as lost or stolen. The next time the device is connected to the computer, it will transfer data about the system where it was connected.
How it works?')

Agent files are installed in the root of a USB storage device, such as a digital camera, iPod, or USB Flash. When the device is included in the system running Windows XP, it opens a dialog asking you to install drivers. This is a trick; no USB drivers are really required. You can click on “Cancel” or “Ok”, nothing will happen until the device is marked as stolen.

When the “Ok” button is pressed, the agent program communicates with
the Gadget Theft server . If the server reports that the device was stolen then information about the system is collected and sent to the email of the device owner specified during registration.
