Channel One investigates the leak of the last episode of the series "Sherlock"

Channel One is investigating the leakage of the fourth episode of the fourth season of the popular BBC production, Sherlock, reports TASS with reference to the press service of the channel. The preliminary version is a hacker attack on the official website of the "First".

On the 14th of January, the information appeared in the network that the Russian-language series “Sherlock” in relatively high quality ( MediaInfo file ) is available for download on the Google Drive service. After a while, the episode was already available on popular torrent trackers. Thus, the Russian-speaking audience gained access to the not yet officially released series a day earlier than the planned world release, which was scheduled for the night of January 15-16.

According to the preliminary version, the cause was a hacker attack. This year, the management of the TV channel managed to reduce the time gap between the English-speaking and Russian-language broadcasts to a record one minute, although usually this value is at least an hour.
