FBI real-time spy drone tracking

As it turned out, the FBI maintains the activity of dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles that ply over the territory of the United States.

The story began to unfold after an article in the newspaper The Washington Post on May 5, 2015. During mass protests in the city of Baltimore, on the radar of Flightradar24.com a certain small aircraft was found that circled directly above the rally site.

Since the information is open for civilian ships, the flight map of this aircraft was also on the website of the US Federal Aviation Administration.

The card contains a small aircraft of the Cessna 182T model, registered to NG Research from Bristow, PCs. Virginia.

And this is where the fun began. There was absolutely no information about NG Research on the Internet: no addresses, no phones, nothing. In the city of Bristow, they also knew nothing about her.

Protesters with pleasure photographed the mysterious plane when it came into view.

Maybe the story would have been forgotten, but on June 2, an investigation was published by the Associated Press journalists. They found out that the FBI is monitoring American cities through a dozen sham companies.

Characteristically, these are not particular cases. An AP investigation revealed that the FBI has at its disposal a “small group” of spy aircraft flying at low altitude. They shoot video and, at times, use equipment to intercept cellular communications. Over the past 30 days, such UAVs have been used in more than 30 cities in 11 states of the country, AP found out.

Activists from the Reddit website did not just leave this case. They have been discussing surveillance of citizens with the help of drones for several years, and here is just such a case. They quickly unearthed several dozens of small aircraft in the Flightradar24 flight base, which were registered to unknown companies, while patrolling cities.

The database of the Federal Aviation Administration of the USA found 17 unique companies registered on mailboxes in Bristow, Virginia. As with many other government spyware programs, the names of these companies are mysterious abbreviations.

These companies own 84 aircraft, which can be viewed in the Enigma database .

And with the help of the FlightRadar24 service, the trajectories of their flights are reconstructed. Almost all of them are repetitive circles.

Most of the devices were registered in 2010-2011. On this page are the numbers of all flights and links to track them in real time on the radar FlightRadar24.
