Ford is proud that the Mustang in the list of popular passwords bypassed Superman and Batman
The Ford Mustang is one of the most popular cars ever built, and now it has the honor to be one of the most common passwords on the Internet, according to a Splashdata study, Ford reports .
At the beginning of the year, Splashdata published a list of the most common passwords for 2014. The first three places were 12345, password and 123456, and the sixteenth position is the mustang. Car model overtook superman (21 place) and batman (24 place).
Head of Information Security at Ford Kitt Moss notes that although the company is proud of this achievement, the password mustang is too simple. Therefore, it must be strengthened in one or several ways:
Add numbers (year of manufacture of your favorite Mustang model, year of vehicle purchase or sale).
The codes of the equipment or the car color, the identification number of the car.
Add acronyms to changes made to your car (FRSC for Ford Racing SuperCharger).
