Linus Torvalds flew the fighter and felt that such a weightlessness

The Linux Foundation has published a curious video: Linus Torvalds describes his impressions of flying a Lockheed T-33 jet fighter and a sense of weightlessness. Leaving the cockpit of the aircraft, the creator of Linux in his inherent brutal manner, admits that the flight "... is cool, but not so much as to spawn." This happened at the Oregon International Air Show last weekend. A little earlier, Torvalds also joked in his Google+: “few people know, but between the pulls and the core, I relax with fighter jets”. In several photographs that he posted, Torvalds can be discerned in the cockpit of the fighter at the location of the co-pilot.

Yesterday, Torvalds added more photos to his Google+ view of him in the cockpit. He apologizes for the quality of the photos, saying that Jim Zemlin, executive director of the Linux Foundation and part-time author of the pictures, laughed so hard that the camera jerked and the shots were not very good definition.

You may notice that the creator of Linux was shown respect and indicated his name on board the aircraft. Torvalds was invited to the Air Show due to the fact that his title sponsor this year was Intel, which in turn works closely with the Linux Foundation in the field of open source software.

The plane that Torvalds flew on was a Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star training fighter. It was created immediately after World War II. Although its production was stopped in 1959, such an aircraft was part of the US Navy before 1996.
