Meduza.io - the unofficial successor to the very same "Tapes.ru" - launched the site and applications

Today the site Meduza.io is launched - a project of Galina Timchenko, the former editor-in-chief of Lenta.ru . All those interested were notified about this in the morning mailing list.

The site should open from minute to minute, but for now a couple of screenshots specifically for GT: already open.

The concept of the project differs from Lenta.ru; it is not so much news as a navigator in the picture of the day, designed to explain to the reader not only what happened, but what it all threatens with. What, in principle, can be seen in the headings:

In the project based in Riga, a part of the team of the pre-reform Lenta.ru is working, reinforced by a new composition from other publications.



The site will not be the only or even the main way of delivering content to the reader: applications for iOS and Android are already available.

In fact, the site - only the tip of the iceberg. At the same time, we have laid out mobile applications, and soon there will be versions for tablets. We want you to use mobile applications, because it is faster, more convenient, and most importantly - more reliable. By the new year, we will show other ways to read and watch Medusa.

PS “Lentachi” in VK and Twitter with jellyfish are in no way connected, respectively, its launch should not affect their fate. Medusa has its offices in social networks.
