Roskomnadzor blocked torrent tracker pornolab

Blocking has a definite effect when comparing site browsing activities on November 7 and 8

Yesterday, Roskomnadzor added a popular torrent tracker with adult content pornolab.net to the list of banned sites . On receipt of the relevant notice about the possibility of placing pornolab in the list of banned sites previously reported on the resource itself.

A notification letter was received on November 3. Judging by the information from the pornolab administration, Roskomnadzor initially demanded “to remove illegal information” without specifying exactly what needs to be removed.

Previously, pornolab had already received similar requirements and met the regulator.

The decision to block a torrent tracker for adults was made by the Avtozavodsky District Court of Tolliaty .

Recognize the information contained in the information and communication network on the Internet http://pornolab.net , prohibited for distribution in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Include the http://pornolab.net web page in the “Unified Register of Domain Names, web site indexes and network addresses that allow identifying websites on the Internet, which contain information that is prohibited in the Russian Federation.”

At the same time, consideration of the issue of blocking pornolab was initiated by the prosecutor's office “in order to protect the interests of an indefinite circle of people” and “in order to restore the violated rights of citizens and in pursuance of the current legislation”.

As of January 2016, about 1.6 million people are registered on the resource, and the daily attendance is about 150 thousand people.
