Almost 6 years ago, on February 17, 2010, one of the most popular Russian torrent trackers torrents.ru (now rutracker.org) lost its domain name. The RU-CENTER registrar suspended the domain delegation at the time of the preliminary investigation after receiving a request from law enforcement agencies.
As it turned out , throughout all these years, the owners of the torrent tracker regularly received invoices from the registrar for a domain name, which they could not use.

The registrar's support service does not respond to letters from domain owners; the registrar does not have a ticket system. You have to pay bills for using a domain in order to prevent cybersquatters from intercepting it after release.
One can only guess: Is the preliminary investigation still not over?
