The President of Russia considers it necessary to monitor information threats on the Web.

Vladimir Putin instructed the relevant authorities and individuals to prepare a number of proposals for monitoring information threats on the Internet, TASS reported . This instruction was given by the President of Russia after the meeting with the participants of the first Russian forum “ Internet Economy ”. The work on the preparation of proposals will be carried out by the FSB of Russia, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Justice of Russia, the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia, Roskomnadzor and other departments.

In addition, the president ordered to prepare proposals for regulating the processing of data of citizens of the Russian Federation on the web.

Now, the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, Rosfinmonitoring, the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media and other agencies and organizations, together with the federal authorities, will have to submit their proposals for the implementation of a unified approach to verifying information provided in banking services. This includes the online segment.

Putin’s third assignment is to develop proposals for changing the requirements for encrypting data transmitted over communication networks in the Russian Federation. It is also necessary to provide for liability for violation of the developed rules.
