The official claims that no one will introduce restrictions for messengers: “I know that the topic is really being worked out, but it is not in terms of restrictions. As far as I know, there are no restrictions there, but the study of the topic is underway, but this is not connected with any instructions, especially the presidential administration. ”
He also said that the restrictions would be inconvenient for him personally,
writes "RIA". “The restriction would be inconvenient for me, and I think we would all be uncomfortable,” said Peskov.
In the morning, Vedomosti reported on the intention of officials to limit the work of instant messengers in Russia, linking them with the country's official telecom operators. The bill, a copy of which turned out to be at the disposal of the journalists of Vedomosti, proposes to oblige the developers of instant messengers to enter into a formal agreement with telecom operators. In addition, the document has another requirement that obliges the creators of such services to report their work to Roskomnadzor.
