A resident of Yekaterinburg, using an open Wi-Fi neighbor, complained about this neighbor for access to the "enemy sites" ADF

A certain Yevgeny Plotnikov complained about his neighbor in Roskomsvoboda, confusing the site with Roskomnadzor, about access to the “enemy sites” blocked by the Russian authorities, which he could get thanks to this neighbor’s open point (spelling of the complaint). Plotnikov desired the apartment and other property of his neighbor, calling him "a traitor to the Motherland."

The body that finally ended up with Roskomnadzor responded that the notion of “enemy of the people” was withdrawn from the Criminal Code of the RSFSR from December 1958.

RosKomSvoboda is a human rights organization founded by the Pirate Party of Russia, which keeps track of sites blocked in the country and tries to protect resources from permanent blocking. A certain citizen of Yekaterinburg Yevgeny Plotnikov confused Roskomnadzor with RosKomSvoboda and sent the latter a message about the violation. In the message, he indicated that he had contacted the police on the fact that an open Wi-Fi point of a neighbor gives him access to sites blocked in Russia, called the name of this neighbor, peering at the electricity bill from the mailbox: that my observations will help you in the future to close this channel for the penetration of enemy information into Russia. ” Eugene proposed to deprive a neighbor of property, including an apartment, and give it to him. To the complaint, he attached screenshots of blocked sites that were available to him.

After the publication of this complaint by RosKomSvoboda, the project received a new letter, in which it proposed an organization called Russian Communist Freedom to “throw it into its America.”

A little later, Plotnikov sent a response from the Roskomnadzor management in the Urals Federal District to his appeal.

As a result, Roskomnadzor, to whom the complaint fell, dotted the “i” in the official response .
