The report was made in order to give providers the answer to the question: what exactly does the client expect from them?

The researchers planned to find out what is most important to users. The main factors were download speeds of ten megabits per second, a stable and reliable connection that allows you to load the page faster than three seconds, and “outstanding customer service”, which will help to cope with most of the problems upon first contact with the operator’s employees.

Ovum has conducted research in thirty countries. The best broadband Internet can boast Sweden, ahead of Romania and Canada. Great Britain, the United States and Russia are in the top eight, and Singapore, South Korea, Japan and Germany are in the top ten.

In the UK, the average Internet speed is 23 megabits per second. For those who want to watch video in 4K resolution, the speed should be at least 50 megabits per second.
