Institute for Internet Development proposed to create an online system to call doctors at home on the model Uber
The Institute for Internet Development (IRI) proposed to create in Russia a system for calling doctors through an Internet service similar to Uber, Yandex.Taxi, or YouDo. To do this, it is necessary to move from licensing clinics to individual licensing of doctors. The chairman of the board of the Islamic Republic of Iran, German Klimenko, noted that the rights and obligations that doctors will receive along with the license will be worked out later.
The issuance of individual licenses will allow doctors to provide services to patients at home, and start-ups - to create Internet services to call the therapist, pediatrician and a number of other professionals. Services will reduce the time required to call doctors - now they must arrive at the patient within forty-eight hours after the call. In a number of cities where the cuts in hospitals were completed, doctors will be able to find employment with the help of such systems.
In Russia, licenses are issued to medical institutions, for this they must comply with the requirements for premises, equipment and specialists. Aleksandr Myasnikov, the chief doctor of the Moscow City Hospital No. 71, said that it is difficult to find the person responsible for the wrong diagnosis with the existing licensing system: “When no one is in charge of the hospital, no one is responsible”. Doctors will cherish personal license, it will increase the responsibility for the work. In the US, licenses are issued to doctors individually after graduating from a medical school and passing additional exams.
Denis Kutergin, the head of the YouDo service, told Izvestia that the service users are already looking for doctors to set up droppers, but the service deletes such tasks for reinsurance. According to Kutergin, services to call doctors will be in demand in Russia.
