Moscow, January 30, 2015. - The Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation suggests that Russian legal entities and individuals consider registering and transferring their Internet domains to registrars under Russian jurisdiction in order to avoid unilateral termination of the specified domains. This is due to incoming notifications of termination of domain name service in connection with the US sanctions against the Republic of Crimea. These messages have recently been received by Russian clients from foreign domain name registrars on the Internet.
