The US Postal Service refuses to send parcels to the Crimea. “Already, several of our clients are faced with the fact that the US Post refuses to deliver their goods to the Crimea,” Sergei Smirnov, a delivery service representative from foreign online stores,
told RBC . The American store sends the goods for a resident of the peninsula from a warehouse in the United States, and at customs it is marked "export prohibited" and returned back to the warehouse.
The representative of a similar service ShopoTam Andrew Lyamin confirmed that the US mail has stopped delivering packages to the Crimea. In this regard, intermediary companies offer residents of Crimea while using their services - the goods are delivered to a warehouse in the US, and then the parcels are shipped to Crimea with the help of Russian partners of the companies.
Thus, the US Post has joined the group of American companies blocking the Crimea within the framework of the US government sanctions. Recently,
Hewlett-Packard, Dell and
Apple have banned the sale of their products on the peninsula, although not all of the Russian partners of these companies have decided to comply with the ban. For example, the co-founder of the online store Wikimart Maxim Faldin said that he was going to ignore him. “We never promised partners that we will comply with their orders on what and where to sell,” said Faldin. According to him, the company changes money for goods and does not tell its partners where they can or cannot spend this money.

Various services of US companies also

Steam and
Apple Developer have become unavailable for them.
