Roskomnadzor’s locks in the Telegram case reached the mining pools

Almost all residents of Russia heard about the Telegram situation. Due to the “war” of Roskomnadzor and Telegram, many other services that we all are used to use to some extent suffer. Repressions even reached such giants as Google and Amazon: problems in the work of these resources are observed in dozens of different cities of our country to this day.

However, the specialists of the supervisory authority have now gone even further and blocked the IP addresses of some mining pools. These are the IP addresses of major platforms such as ViaBTC, Antpool, BTC.com and Bitcoin.com. All these addresses were not available on the territory of the Russian Federation. In a special document, the Prosecutor General’s Office says that Roskomnadzor has the right to restrict access to any IP address if the site contains calls for riots and “other extremist information.”

Thus, no one knows how the situation will develop further. Just in case, I attach to this post a list of alternative pools, which can be useful in case of interruptions in the work of the above-mentioned platforms:
