Victor Gamov on Apache Kafka on jug.msk.ru
On April 23, 2018, the Moscow office of CROC hosted a meeting of the Moscow community of Java developers jug.msk.ru , which was addressed by Viktor Gamov. The presentation is a product of Apache Kafka .
Victor is the co-founder and leader of the podcast Debriefing . At jug.msk.ru, he spoke for the third time. Previous performances were November 13, 2014 (about the project Nashorn ) and May 4, 2016 (about the Hazelcast ). Most recently, many could see him at the JPoint 2018 conference, where the report was also about Kafka .
Victor made the first report while working at Farata Systems , the second at Hazelcast , now at Confluent .

The meeting was held in the form of questions and answers. At first, an approximate list of questions of interest was formed:
Victor did not forget the theoretical foundations and features of the product (his closest reports on this topic were from DevNexus 2018 and JPoint 2018 ).
At the break and at the end of the meeting, it was possible (and necessary) to ask more questions, communicate and reinforce the strength with tea, coffee and company Krokovsky buns.
