And we offer dedicated servers for rent in the data centers of our partners in the Netherlands and the USA for 6 years, after we completely left Ukraine

During this period, we had a lot of large orders, sometimes administrators advise us to their customers and get their% for it, making customers more expensive than purchasing from us. I am always wary of large orders, as in the case when a large customer leaves, a huge simple one is formed immediately, which is almost impossible to recycle in less than a month, and in some cases the situation can be even worse. That is why, if I can easily give a 15% discount to an order in several servers, then an order from 30 fairly expensive servers will give a lower discount and be no more than 10%, except in cases of long-term contractual obligations, or even not at all with a monthly payment option.

I never believed in contextual advertising, in terms of successful sales of dedicated servers, it just does not pay off, even for a year, even for two. Well, this knowledge will not bring any. That is why our advertising - the knowledge and experience, the construction of new solutions, in which we invest free working capital. And significant. It is better to distribute resources to developers for free and provide yourself with an additional rating than to invest in the context. It will be more effective.
Back in 2010, I had the experience of using such advertising, though from Yandex. Then there was the huge problem of ad clicks, though it is worth noting that Yandex returned the money. And advertising from Yandex, in some form, but it worked. But not in the one in which I wanted, of course, at that time. True setup was pretty simple and straightforward.
After I tried to watch Google Adwords from time to time, and even spent a small advertising campaign. And here, at the time of the release of 30 servers, I receive a letter:

This is how Google “threw” me for the first time. No, of course all honest, I just did not read a minor postscript about how their bonus works and when.
Further it was even more interesting. I honestly, like when working with Yandex, picked up keywords and made a normal type of ad with honestly specified information, without any search nonsense. It turned out that in order to achieve a result later, the ads need not one, but a whole group. I spent a lot of time on this, with Google tricky filters, and the logic of their system was quite difficult to understand, although perhaps their system was too clever for me. In Yandex, as far as I remember, everything was much simpler, and the result could be better. In any case, it seemed so to me at that time ... After killing a lot of time on setting up filters, I still achieved a reduction in the “junk” traffic, however, the coverage of the audience I needed fell. Clicks was extremely small.
It turned out that Google is assessing the quality of the ad, and if the ad in the campaign as a result of your or not your mistakes, gets a low quality score, the ad needs to be re-created and re-configured! But I learned about this later.
In the meantime, I just used the advertising budget, because I just realized that Google ads would not bring anything good to me. We received inadequate chat, especially from mobile traffic, which cannot be turned off with simple settings, but it turned out to be turned off only by making the price per click less by an order of magnitude than per click from conventional devices. Again, the feature of their stupidly abstruse platform!
I threw out 50 000 UAH and was no longer going to set experiments on myself, nor on my own time. The budget is over. For a week somewhere. I apparently didn’t get any benefit from this and once again made sure that all these advertisements are a way to fuck you for money, but in no way give an opportunity to get a good result. For a good way to check is the only one - offer Google to get a part of the profit from the clients attracted by them, and he certainly will not agree to work under such conditions.
Although I met mega brains on freelance, which offered to work according to such a scheme, maybe it works in other topics, and perhaps it is a way to attract customers.
And so, literally the next day after the end of the budget, all of a sudden, no one calls me ... Google. And pretends that, as it were, “we accidentally noticed here that you started advertising with us and would like to offer you help with more effective setting up of the advertising campaign by our specialists”. Of course by chance! After all, so often come to them customers who can throw 50 000 UAH (10-15 average wages. Fees of Ukraine) per week. No, to call on the same day, to help before the person launches the advertising budget to nowhere ... They have so many customers there! Incredibly much ... But that is not the question. It was already clear that I don’t intend to pay more to these good people, as they are not just ineffective, they are 10 times worse than Yandex, because they made the settings so abstruse that even their specialists cannot cope with them! But more about that later.
I describe the situation brightly and colorfully on the phone and talk in general about what I think about their programmers and what kind of “hell do I want them to burn” (if someone works at Google, don’t seek it, it's all figuratively and in fact I'm not offended , but just emotionally describing the work of their system), after such a magical work of their system. And how can it even be that Google works so lame in terms of context, and this is a technical term that Yandex, which seems to be not in the first place, turns out to be better in context. In any case, there for your money at least you yourself do not force the brain so with the settings of the advertising system. They could offer the manager immediately if they needed help. Maybe they could, but then they contacted me only after a waste of 10 hours. boards

They called me and told me that they were ready to provide me with my own specialist who would set up everything and support me during the first three months. When asked if it would be possible to pay for the services of your person later, if he manages, but so that he continues our support, I was told: “unfortunately not, Google does not provide this service on a fee basis, and this option is available for every advertising campaign and account only 1 time. " Then it was proposed to use the same settings for the subsequent advertising and it should all seem to work. Apparently, it is possible to understand them a little, but the desire to lure new “cash cows” is great. It is much more profitable to set up everything for it to work, and show for 3 months how cool it is, and then receive money every month, firmly convincing the client that it was Google Adwords that brought him success. It is worth saying that after I decided to stop working with them, the support guys went to the meeting and promised to think of something if I decide to continue the cooperation.
Again, I do not extend this rule to all subjects, but I have already seen how advertising works in the hosting industry. No wonder my colleague, the owner of another hosting provider, wrote that one mailing to the current customer base brought him more orders than with Google Adwords, at an expense of $ 300 per month.
We decided to try with the budget "without restrictions", and I was ready to replenish hryvnia with 100k all the time, if there was at least some visible result from these 100k. The result is a payback of not more than 1.5 years, since the higher it will exceed the life expectancy of the average customer, which can be quite dangerous. But this did not mean that the user ordered a server, or at least hosting for $ 1. And this cost turned out to be much more expensive than the predictions of Alexander, who assumed that it would be in the range of 100-200 UAH ($ 4- $ 8). But the topic was too complicated ... The only explanation I managed to get.
If the subject is so complex, why not lower prices? After all, it is obvious that with such prices per target click (microconversion) - such advertising is simply unprofitable.
