Catching up with IE

According to the latest statistics, Firefox is installed in 12.46% of Internet users, while Internet Explorer is installed in 82.1%. A year ago, Microsoft's browser occupied 90% of the market. The progress is obvious.

Appearing in 2004, Firefox is rapidly gaining momentum. In many ways, thanks to the spreading campaign Spread Firefox and its fans, users who even invested money in online advertising. Google also made its contribution by inserting ad units of some Firefox-related products and providing browser support in all new services.

However, the struggle is far from over: in October, the final release of IE 7 will be presented with integrated tabs, RSS support and enhanced phishing protection.
