Vue.js Moscow Meetup Logo

At the end of the month, the first Moscow MeetUp will be held, dedicated exclusively to the Vue.js framework.

All interested developers are invited to the event - from beginners to experienced. We will discuss a wide variety of issues regarding the use of Vue.js, and the speakers and guests of the event will share real techniques and practical examples. And all this in a pleasant atmosphere with coffee and cookies.

We are waiting for you on March 22, 2018 in the office of Acronis - in the Fiztekhpark (Moscow, Dolgoprudnenskoye Highway, 3). Specially for this occasion, a transfer from the metro station Altufyevo, as well as return to the city after the event will be organized.

If you prefer to come by personal car, you can be sure - there is plenty of parking there. And when we finish (it will be obvious after 22 hours), it will be possible to return to the city without traffic jams.

Yes, MeetUp is, of course, free, but space is limited!
To get to the meeting, you must first register by the link. (Registration is closed)

For those who are interested - this is our program of the event:

18:30 - 19:00 - Collection of guests, welcome coffee
19:00 - 20:00 - Reports and discussions
20:00 - 20:10 - Coffee break and discussion

To date, the following reports and topics have been announced:

Practice and methods of working with complex forms in Vue.js - Alexander Bashkirtsev (Software developer, Acronis)

In the report on the example from simple to complex, we consider the main methods and architectural approaches of working with editable user data in modern frontend applications.

We implement Vue.js in the ready project, painless disposal of jQuery. - Alexander Mayorov (CTO, NewHR)

What if we inherited a site consisting of unstructured, unsupported noodles from html-bootstrap-jquery ... Let's not be upset, but roll up our sleeves, take up the legacy of vue.js and make our inheritance shine in a new way!

Easy and clean state management in vue.js - Alexander Saft (Senior Frontend Developer, Smotreshka)

Web frameworks help to create complex systems with a long life cycle. But in solving simple problems, modern ideas begin to show themselves from a different angle. Developing components even with simple business logic takes too much time. Vue shows itself well in simplifying development. But there are still places where there is a bit too much code per unit of business logic.

In the report, Alexander will tell and show by examples how to make the application code on Vue even easier, without losing reliability and expressiveness.

Experience of using Nuxt.js - Grigori Petrov (Voximplant technical evangelist)

The Nuxt.js framework allows you to build static sites on Vue.js very quickly. The resulting HTML pre-rendered pages load very quickly, then load the JavaScript code and come to life in your application. Voximplant uses Nuxt for internal projects, documentation, one-page sites.

In the report, Gregory will briefly describe the framework itself, its capabilities, limitations, strengths and weaknesses - and, of course, the practice of using it as a team.

We will also take a tour of the Acronis development center for everyone. And for those who can not reach us, an online broadcast of Acronis blog speeches on Habrahabr will be organized.

So, we are waiting for you on March 22 (Thursday) at 18:30 at the address Dolgoprudnenskoye Highway, 3.

You can reach us:

  1. On the corporate Acronis transfer from the metro station Altufyevo (landmark - jewelry store on Altufevskoe highway, 90)

  2. By train from metro stations Savelovskaya, Kuntsevskaya, Fili, Belorusskaya, Timiryazevskaya, Okruzhnaya (MTS) to Novodachnaya station.
